GiveAway: Scarlett Dedd by Cathy Brett

You’re dead Scarlett…Previously a poor taste jibe from school frenemies, now a statement of fact. Scarlett is absolutely mortified (in more ways than one) to discover that she’s accidentally killed herself while trying to get out of a school trip. Even worse, she’s taken her entire family with her. Life as a ghost is pretty dull – if only some of her friends were dead too…

The lovely people at Headline sent me two copies of this book for review (due for release in the UK on 2nd September) and that means one lucky person has the chance to win one! I’ve had a quick look through, and it’s filled with the most fantastic illustrations and looks really good!

To enter, all you need to do is fill in the form below. However, I’m going to give you the opportunity to get an extra entry…by commenting on this post and telling us what the most outrageous thing YOU’VE ever done to get out of something!

Contest closes midnight Friday 20th August and a winner will be chosen using Random.Org. Open to everyone…good luck!

  1. I think the most outrageous thing I've ever thing is I want to save my sister fro drowning without realized that I didnt know how to swim. We nearly drown and thank god my dad come save us.And I'm quite traumatic to learn to swim.

  2. The most outrageous thing I have done to get out of something is faked being sick. I used to do that a lot…I don't know if my mom bought it or not, but I got to stay home from school!

  3. I don't know if I'll be able to explain this in English, but well, I'll try it, a day walking to school, I stepped on a dog shit, and even I scraped the sole of the shoe, my companion in front said it smelled funny like … candy. I stretched my legs forward and I didn't tell her the truth (it was funny, too :D)

  4. Wow, those are some pretty outrageous things.
    Hmm…to get out of something.
    Got it!
I got in trouble for pinching my sister's bag of chips. Then I tried to lay the blame on my cousin, by sprinkling some of them outside her door.
    But the outrageous bit?
I forgot to clean it up before we went out, and when we came back, there were ants crawling all over out house. We had to call pest control, and they charged us eaps. And who got the blame? My cousin. Whoops!!
    XD
