Wow, it’s eight years ago today since I took the plunge, created a blog and posted my first review. Starting out over on blogger, originally as Rhiana Reads…(and wishing I’d put a bit more thought into the name before going live, though to be honest I didn’t really expect anyone would actually read it, the Rhiana is my daughters middle name and had been an alias on parenting forums!) my very first proper post was a review of The Book Of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern

I’ve had a few make overs and a change from blogger to WordPress since then, and a couple of long breaks but here I am, eight years later, Surprisingly to myself, as I usually don’t keep anything up for more than a few months! I’m still loving the blogging world – the amazing, kind and dedicated people I’ve met andthe fantastic books I’ve had the opportunity to read all keep me coming back to my little space on the web.

I’ve seen a lot of changes in those eight years too – back when I started there were hardly any UK book bloggers, having over 100 twitter followers was considered BIG, and e-books were never going to take off! No way would you catch me with an e-reader, or so I thought.
