This week has been pretty uneventful to be honest and I haven’t done an awful lot. I’m at the point in the summer holidays where I’m fed up of all the spare time and finding it hard to motivate myself – I know, give it a week when I go back and I’ll be counting down to the next holiday. But generally, the most exciting thing that happened this week was the gas safety check on the boiler.
I have been productive blog wise though and for the first time ever I’m ahead with scheduling! Long may it last! September is shaping up to be a very busy month on the blog and I want to be as organised as I can be, leaving me with plenty of time for reading when I’m back at work Monday-Friday. I’ve managed to get through another five books too. I’d set myself a goal to try and read twenty books over the six weeks holidays and I’ve already smashed that with 21 books read and still a week to go! Favourite book this week without a doubt is Little Sister by Isabel Ashdown. I’ve had it on the shelf for ages and finally picked it up on Saturday afternoon. I would’ve read it in one sitting my was rudely interrupted by my mother calling in for a cuppa at a very critical moment! As soon as she’d gone, I was straight back to it. I couldn’t put it down! Review coming next week.
It’s been an epic few days new books wise and I’m fairly sure my postie is fed up of me. Here’s what’s new to my shelves this week.
I’ve got a feeling September is going to be an excellent reading month!
So how was your week?
Great collection of new books! I’ve preordered murder at the mill – mainly because the cover looks great!!! Happy reading! X
