Well, it’s been an eventful old week! Firstly, I finally took the plunge and moved from blogger to wordpress (and if you’re reading this – thank you for following me over!) It ended up being a lot smoother than I expected and even though I’ve still got a few things to iron out, I’m really happy with the new site!
Then there’s been twittergate, which I found myself caught up in. If you’ve missed it, then for some reason some book bloggers have been experiencing problems being heard on twitter, not receiving tweets or notifications. On Wednesday and Thursday it was like talking to myself – so strange! Thankfully I seem to be ok now – I just hope my lovely twitter friends who are still affected get sorted soon. I hadn’t realised how much twitter WAS a part of blogging until then.
So, I’ve been a bit distracted, despite being off work I’ve only read two books! I’d been hoping for a lot more. Must try better this week!
I’ve been really careful about requesting books on netgalley and managed to get my percentage to 79% this week. Then I got a read now email for Marian Keye’s new book, The Break, well how could I say no? I LOVE Marian Keyes! I then requested The Silk Weavers Wife from the lovely people at Bookoutre. How gorgeous does this look? One day I’ll make the magic 80%!
I also got this exciting book post from HarperCollins UK. I was a bit confused as to why I’d received two of the same book until I read the card – very clever! A copy is now on it’s way to my lovely friend Dee.
I’m on four blog tours this week! Watch out for the posts and don’t forget to follow the other fantastic bloggers on the tours.
Have a lovely week all!
I can’t wait to read Give Me The Child! And so excited about Copycat! ❤️
I still have to write my wrap-up. That’s how productive this week has been for me 😂

It would’ve been 1 book read if I hadn’t started the Lisa Jewell last night and read it in one sitting!

The twitter issue was very annoying, I hope its fixed now. You have some great books there, I’m intrigued about the 2 copies, but lucky for Dee that you did get 2! A buddy read would be fun. I look forward to the Annie Darling tour.

Some people are still having problems… I spent way too much time faffing on with Twitter last week. It’ll be interesting to see if Dee & I both have the same opinion in Copycat!
